Before founding Palma Sola Early Learning Academy, our owner served as the chief executive officer of multiple children’s psychiatric hospitals. In those roles, he worked closely with medical professionals, therapists, educators, and families to provide care for children facing emotional and behavioral challenges.

That experience provided deep insight into how early childhood experiences shape long-term development. It reinforced the importance of safe environments, structured routines, compassionate guidance, and strong communication between schools and families.

Beyond his professional work in healthcare and education, our owner has been deeply involved in community organizations throughout Manatee County.

He is the current representative of Safe Haven for Newborns of Manatee County, supporting initiatives that protect vulnerable infants and provide families with safe options during times of crisis.

He currently serves as a board member of the Healthy Start Coalition of Manatee County, an organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of mothers, infants, and families. Through this role, he continues to advocate for preventive care, early intervention, and community-based family support systems.

His long-standing commitment to children’s services includes:

• Membership in the Manatee Chamber of Commerce

In addition to leading Palma Sola Early Learning Academy, our owner is also the founder and operator of a local adoption agency. Through this work, he has helped bring families together and supported children in finding stable, loving homes.

This experience provides a unique perspective on the importance of stability, compassion, and understanding each child’s background and needs. It reinforces our school’s philosophy that every child deserves patience, encouragement, and the opportunity to thrive.
